The hardest of all is learning to be a well of affection, and not a fountain… to show someone that we love them not when we feel like it, but when they need it.
A woman’s self esteem rises and falls like a wave… when she hits the bottom, it is a time for emotional housecleaning.
We mistakenly assume that if our partners love us, they will behave in certain ways… the ways we react and behave when we love someone.
Men often complain, she is over reacting… and women complain he doesn’t listen.
The biggest challenge for a woman is to correctly interpret and support a man when he isn’t talking.
A woman’s sense of self is defined through her feelings.
Men argue for the right to be free while women argue for the right to be upset. Men want space while women want understanding.
Never go into a man’s cave or you will be burned by the dragon.
A woman should not be judged for needing this reassurance… just as a man should not be judged for needing to withdraw.
Blessed are they who expect nothing… for they shall not be disappointed.
I love mornings! Stretching to greet the morning sun or sometimes the pouring rain (makes me want to go back to bed!)... and oh! have I mentioned breakfast?! I love breakfast... fried eggs, some bacon, butter on toast, a cup of hot and rich swiss miss choco and the daily. First few lines about me and you see food! I love everything about it! From making it to eating it and to burning it with the help of some really nice Latin music! =) If i have the luxury of time... which is not so often.
I love working with my hands... (oopsie! dont get any ideas hehe) from cooking to making jewelries and candles to making beautiful christmas wrappings for my family and friends. Its labor of love! =). I love to sing and I am currently preparing for another concert this coming December!!! Anywayz... underneath all the kikay stuff, I am just a simple lady who just wishes to give back to those people who have showered me with so much love, understanding, support and strength...
